July Lunch and Learn – E. Sean Standing Bear

The Bartlesville Area History Museum is proud to announce a special event for our July Lunch & Learn series. On July 17, 2025 from 12:00-1:00PM, E. Sean Standing Bear, great-grandson to Osage Chief Fred Lookout and Julia Lookout, and grandson of Eugene George Standing Bear and Mary Nora (Lookout). Standing Bear will visit the museum to share stories passed down to him from his grandmother, Nora. Mr. Standing Bear is the former director of the Osage Nation Museum in Pawhuska. Pairing his experience at the museum with his extensive knowledge of oral history, he will share stories that allow a rare glimpse of the past. Bring your lunch and a friend, and join us for this special event.
