The Bartlesville Area History Museum is proud to join communities across the country in celebrating America’s 250th birthday. This historic milestone marks the 250th anniversary of the signing of the United States Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, an event being called the nation’s Semiquincentennial. From now through July, the museum will commemorate this once-in-a-generation anniversary with special exhibits, programs, and community activities that highlight local stories and the role the Bartlesville area has played in the broader American story. Visitors are invited to explore the past, celebrate our shared heritage, and look ahead to the future as the nation marks 250 years of independence.
