DESCRIPTION:The Bartlesville Area History Museum is excited to announce our May “Third Thursday Lunch and Learn” event will feature guest speaker and owner and CEO\, of Red Dirt Rubs\, Tyler Glenn! Red Dirt Rubs is a BBQ and a Steak seasoning company started in Bartlesville\, Oklahoma On May 17th\, 2018 and has made great strides towards becoming Northeast Oklahoma’s Favorite Seasoning Company. Tyler has been filmed on local news stations and has had food featured at local restaurants! So\, don’t miss your chance to meet one of Bartlesville’s own rising stars in the culinary world! \n  \nThis event will be held Thursday\, May 15th\, from 12:00 p.m. – 1 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to enjoy the museum’s newest exhibit “Our Culinary Past” on display from now until July 7th. Tables and chairs will be set up for people who bring a lunch\, and little ones may enjoy our history of cooking coloring station. \n  \nThe Museum is open Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (closed on weekends and holidays) at 401 S. Johnstone Avenue\, 5th Floor. Museum entry is free\, but donations are always welcome. No reservation is necessary. DESCRIPTION:The Bartlesville Area History Museum is excited to announce our first ever “Breakfast Charcuterie with the Easter Bunny\,” event! Chicks and bunnies 10 years or younger\, may join us for a hopping good time as we welcome the Easter Bunny! \nFamilies can enjoy selfies with our favorite rabbit\, an Easter-themed craft\, or win a prize during a hopping sack race! Charcuterie boxes are optional and may be purchased for $10.00\, using cash or card! This is sure to be a family friendly event you won’t want to miss! The event is free but supplies are limited! \nThis event will be held Saturday April 12th\, from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. While here\, attendees are encouraged to enjoy the museum’s latest exhibit “Our Culinary Past” on display from April 7th through July 7th or your little bunnies may enjoy our Easter-themed coloring station!

Learn how the flavors of early indigenous people\, combined with European\, Spanish\, and African flavors resulted in the rich\, southern inspired piquancy of our foods today! Guests will discover how the need for nourishment while traveling\, catalyzed the development of the first restaurants\, helping to shape the social importance of dining together!
