The Bartlesville Area History Museum is excited to announce our, “Third Thursday Lunch and Learn” event for October will feature guest speaker, photographer and author, Richard Gorremans. After finding a book about ghost towns in a local antique shop, Richard became dedicated to discovering Oklahoma ghost towns and defining what makes them unique.
Join us as we celebrate the release of Richards book “Ghost Towns In Oklahoma” with a short presentation and book signing! Guests are encouraged to bring their own lunch or enjoy light refreshments provided by BAHM while hearing tales of how some of our state’s, ghost towns came to be, especially in Washington County. Richard will provide copies of his book “Ghost Towns in Oklahoma” for the cash or credit sale of $17.99 and will personally autograph each book sold!
This event will be held Thursday, October 19th, from 12:00 p.m. – 1 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to enjoy the museum’s current exhibit, “Faces and Places: A look at The Key Faces of Bartlesville Development.” on display from October 6th through December 29th.
